The two congress days will open by some of the most known figures in the Israeli media and literature, who use their voices to promote vegan lifestyle and support animal rights issues.
Aviv Lavit, parliament members Yael Cohen-Faran and Tamar Zandberg, Hilla Keren and Gidi Zaga will participate in a panel about politics and talk about the importance of activism in the political field.
The leading animal rights organizations in Israel will come to tell us about their activities and progress over the last year as well as their future projects. It is a great opportunity to join and promote vegan lifestyle.
We all want to make the world vegan but how can we actually do it?
The lecture examines the connection between women oppression and animal oppression and shows the two as an example of how the connection can serve us in our activism.
Over the last months we asked you to think about new and revolutionary ideas to promote veganism. Now it is time to present the final projects and let you pick the best one. As a reward, the project will be financed and produced by Vegan Friendly under the Vegan Active project.
From a billboard on Ayalon Highway to the Food Engineering project, Vegan Active's project manager will talk about how we succeeded in making far-off dreams into substantial reality in a matter of only few months.
Ronen will lecture about the abundant variety of activism there is for animal rights, about essentiality in activism, and about the most important activism of them all; one that doesn't achieve praises, and suffers from especially bad public relations.
In her lecture Shiri will present the key points in the development of human consciousness that were the basis for the different reasoning to eat animals during different periods, to understand why they were relevant then, and why they're not in today's post-modern world.
Chen will present a review of all the news and developments that took place over the last year within the animal rights and vegan movements around Israel and the world.
This year you will be presented with the opportunity to determine which lecture will be held during the congress.
